Dust and Water Resistance

The Extreme Portable SSD V1 is the only one of the two products to be rated for dust and water protection.

With a rating of IP55, the SanDisk external storage drive will protect against any significant dust buildup although it is not completely dust tight.

The Extreme Portable V1 should also be shielded against light water splashes.
