In 2021, Nintendo released the OLED model of the Switch console. You can check out this guide at Seeking Tech to see which accessories are compatible with the new Switch OLED.
Nintendo Switch OLED: What’s in the Box?
Before we begin, we should note that the Nintendo Switch OLED comes with the following already included in the box:
- Nintendo Switch OLED console
- Nintendo Switch dock with LAN port
- 1 Left Joy-Con controller
- 1 Right Joy-Con controller
- 2 Joy-Con controller straps
- Joy-Con Control Cradle
- Nintendo Switch Power Adapter
- HDMI cable
For the uninformed, the original Nintendo Switch system does not come with a dock that has a LAN port. So, if you have the OLED model, then there is no need to get an USB Ethernet adapter in order to connect your Switch to the Internet over a wired connection.
Compatible Switch OLED carrying case and screen protector
In addition to the OLED model, Nintendo is releasing a new Nintendo Switch Carrying Case & Screen Protector.
The multipurpose product is design to protect the portable unit of the Nintendo Switch OLED, as well as the original Nintendo Switch model, during transportation.
You will also get two screen protectors, one that will fit the bigger screen of the Switch OLED and one that will fit the smaller screen of the original Switch.
