Heatsink

All three of these M.2 solid state drives come with the AddGame aluminum armor.

This heatsink is designed to fit the M.2 docking bay of the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition (the full dimension for the entire SSD structure is 80 mm x 20 mm x 9.1 mm). It should help cool the solid state drive by around 30% on the console.

For PC, this heatsink will help cool the SSD by up to 17%.

Capacity Options

The A90 is the only product not to offer a 4 TB option.

The A90, A92 and A95 all use the PCIe 4.0 x4 interface.

As for the protocol, the A90 and A92 utilize NVMe 1.3 while the A95 utilizes NVMe 1.4.

When it comes to the flash memory components, the A90 and A95 are equipped with TLC while the A92 is equipped with QLC.

DRAM

All three of these PS5 M.2 SSDs use DDR4 DRAM.

PlayStation 5 Sequential Read Speed

When it comes to the PlayStation 5 sequential read speed, the AddGame A95 is 921 MB per second faster, or 16.34% faster, than the AddGame A90 and AddGame A92.

When you compare the same capacities, the 1 TB AddGame A95 is 2300 MB per second faster, or 46% faster, than the 1 TB AddGame A90 and 2600 MB per second faster, or 55.32% faster, than the 1 TB AddGame A92 at sequential reading.

The 2 TB AddGame A95 is also 2400 MB per second faster, or 48% faster, than the 2 TB AddGame A90 and 2550 MB per second faster, or 52.58% faster, than the 2 TB AddGame A92.

Lastly, the 4 TB AddGame A95 is 2500 MB per second faster, or 51.02% faster, than the 4 TB AddGame A92.
