Nixeus recently released the NX-EDG274K Gaming Monitor. So, how does the new model stack up against the older NX-EDG27v2 and NX-EDG27Sv2 models?
You can find out in the comparison guide.
Quick Summary
The Nixeus NX-EDG274K supports a higher resolution (up to 4K) and peak brightness (up to 400 cd/m2) when compared to the NX-EDG27v2 and NX-EDG27Sv2, both of which top out at 1440p resolution and 300 cd/m2 brightness.
The maximum refresh rate is the same across the three monitors at 144 Hz with an identical input lag of 4 ms (Gray to Gray). All of the products also support AMD’s FreeSync.
If you have a computer powerful enough to constantly run games at 60 frames per second in 4K resolution (as well as a cable that supports DisplayPort 1.4 with Display Stream Compression), then we recommend picking up the Nixeus NX-EDG274K Gaming Monitor as the other two can’t handle 4K.
If your PC is only strong enough to handle 1440p, then the Nixeus NX-EDG27v2 Gaming Monitor and Nixeus NX-EDG27Sv2 Gaming Monitor are more affordable options. The only difference between these two is that the NX-EDG27v2 comes with a stand that can be adjusted in height, pivoted, tilted and swiveled while the NX-EDG274K comes with tilt only stand.
